Munich in the fall mood: relaxed city walks and enjoying nature

The English Garden in Munich is a fascinating green oasis that connects the natural landscape of the Isar floodplains with the old town in a unique way. With a length of five and a half kilometers, it is one of the largest inner-city parks in the world.

The Monopteros on a hill offers an impressive view of the most important sights of Munich's city center at any time of year, including the Church of Our Ladywhich Theatine Church and the Town hall. The quieter northern part of the park invites you to hike through forests, meadows and along waterways - a perfect place to get some fresh air and unwind.
With its 375 hectares, the English Garden offers a variety of experiences. The Four beer gardens in the parkincluding the Aumeister and the Seehaus, embody the Munich way of life. For a quick snack, there are many kiosks, such as the charming Milchhäusl or Fräulein Grüneis.
