General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
of TIMEHOUSE Betreiber GmbH & Co. KG
– hereinafter referred to as “Timehouse” –
Accommodation Business
1. Scope of Application
1.1 These General Terms and Conditions apply to all accommodation and lodging contracts, reservations, and all additional services concluded or provided between Timehouse and the guest.
1.2 Deviating or supplementary terms and conditions of the guest shall not apply, even if Timehouse does not expressly object to them.
1.3 Subletting or reletting, as well as any use of the suites for purposes other than accommodation, require the prior written consent of Timehouse.
2. Conclusion of Contract & Reservations
2.1 A binding accommodation contract is concluded upon acceptance of the guest’s reservation by Timehouse.
2.2 There is no entitlement to accommodation in a specific suite; the guest is entitled to accommodation in the booked category or a higher category.
2.3 Timehouse is entitled to reassign reserved suites after expiry of the agreed arrival time unless a guaranteed reservation exists.
2.4 The guest shall receive a binding booking or reservation number; written confirmation is available upon request.
2.5 Timehouse reserves the right to define customary booking conditions such as minimum stays, advance payments, or guarantees.
3. Resale and Assignment
3.1 The resale, subletting, or onward distribution of booked suites is prohibited.
3.2 In particular, transferring reservations at prices higher than those originally agreed is not permitted.
3.3 The assignment or transfer of claims against Timehouse is excluded.
3.4 In the event of violations, Timehouse is entitled to cancel the booking without notice.
4. Guaranteed Reservations & Cancellation
4.1 In the event of a noshow (nonarrival without cancellation), the full total amount (100%) of the stay will be charged.
4.2 For stays of several nights, Timehouse will endeavour to relet the suite; if unsuccessful, the guest remains obliged to pay.
4.3 Nonrefundable rates (NonRefundable / NonRef) are neither refundable nor changeable.
4.4 The cancellation conditions stated in the individual reservation confirmation shall always apply.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Unless otherwise agreed, the total price is due no later than upon arrival.
5.2 Accepted payment methods:
Cash (EUR)
Maestro Card
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners, Apple Pay
5.3 In the case of payment by bank transfer, the full amount must be credited to the Timehouse account no later than the last free cancellation date.
Reference: reservation number & guest name.
6. Reservation Guarantee
6.1 A valid credit card is required to guarantee the reservation.
6.2 Unless otherwise agreed, no advance charge will be made; the credit card serves exclusively to secure the booking/accommodation.
7. Prices, Taxes & Fees
7.1 All prices are gross prices and include all applicable statutory taxes and fees.
7.2 In the event of changes to statutory taxes or fees, Timehouse is entitled to adjust prices accordingly.
8. Arrival and Departure / Use of the Suite
8.1 Checkin: from 3:00 p.m.
8.2 Checkout: until 12:00 noon
8.3 Late checkout (subject to availability, no legal entitlement):
Studio: EUR 30.00 per commenced hour
2room apartment: EUR 50.00
3room apartment: EUR 100.00
8.4 Departures after 3:00 p.m. will be charged at the full daily rate.
8.5 Excessive soiling, theft, or damage will be charged to the guest in full.
9. Withdrawal by Timehouse
Timehouse is entitled to withdraw from the contract in particular if:
agreed advance payments are not made in due time,
force majeure or circumstances beyond Timehouse’s control occur,
false or misleading information is provided,
operational processes or safety are jeopardized,
these GTC are violated.
In such cases, the guest shall have no claim for damages.
10. Liability of Timehouse
10.1 Timehouse shall be liable only in cases of intent or gross negligence, excluding personal injury.
10.2 Timehouse shall be liable for property brought in by guests in accordance with statutory provisions (§§ 701 et seq. of the German Civil Code – BGB).
10.3 Damages must be reported without delay.
11. Parking
11.1 The use of a parking space does not constitute a safekeeping or custody agreement.
11.2 Liability exists only within the scope of statutory regulations.
11.3 There is no entitlement to a specific parking space.
12. Food & Beverages
12.1 Preparation and consumption of food within the suite are permitted insofar as no inconvenience or disturbance to other guests occurs.
12.2 Bringing and consuming food and beverages is permitted in public areas.
13. Fire Alarm & False Alarms
If the guest negligently or intentionally triggers the fire alarm—particularly through improper handling of technical equipment, smoke generation, prohibited use of cooking or heating devices, violation of the smoking ban, or other misconduct—and this results in an intervention by the fire brigade or other emergency services, the guest shall bear all resulting costs in full.
This includes, in particular, fire brigade deployment costs, false alarm fees, damage to the building or inventory, and any other expenses incurred by the hotel.
The hotel reserves the right to invoice the guest for these costs subsequently.
14. NonSmoking Hotel
14.1 Timehouse is a nonsmoking establishment.
14.2 In the event of noncompliance, a cleaning fee of EUR 200.00 will be charged.
Nonlettable subsequent nights will be charged additionally at the applicable daily rate.
15. Pets
15.1 Pets must be registered in advance and require the approval of Timehouse.
15.2 Fee: EUR 20.00 per night
Deposit: EUR 500.00
15.3 Assistance and service dogs are permitted free of charge.
16. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the applicable Timehouse Privacy Policy and statutory data protection regulations (GDPR).
17. Final Provisions
17.1 Amendments and supplements must be made in text form.
17.2 Place of performance and jurisdiction—where legally permissible—is Munich, Germany.
17.3 German law shall apply exclusively.
